Braylon Edwards & Tarvaris Jackson Return To Practice

After sitting out in the first week of training camp, Braylon Edwards created a buzz that he was perhaps not injured but rather holding out for a new contract. Edwards put all of the rumors to bed as he took the practice field for the fist time this year. Turns out that Edwards was dealing with an ankle sprain suffered sometime in the month of June. He looked good in practice today, showing a nice burst off the line and even made a couple of leaping catches that reminded everybody present just how special of a WR he can be.

Over in Mankato, Minnesota Tarvaris Jackson also returned to practice but in a minimal way. Just five days after spraining his MCL in an accidental collision with a defensive lineman, Jackson was back at camp with the help of a knee brace. Jackson participated in some team drills and lead the third team offense just to get some light work in. The vibe in Minnesota though is that Sage Rosenfels has already all but locked up the starting QB job, which I expected to happen anyway. Jackson will be the backup this season in Minnesota.
