Jonathen Stewart Doesn't Practice

The Carolina Panthers held their first practice session of training camp today and were without RB Jonathen Stewart. All reports are that Stewart is in camp but he was nowhere to be found as the rest of his teammates ran through drills today.

Stewart is said to have a sore Achilles tendon that caused him to miss all of the teams OTA's this spring. Supposedly, the Achilles issue resulted from his turf toe injury that we dealt with for the second half of last season.

If Stewart misses any significant time this camp it will leave DeAngelo Williams light years ahead of him in the race for playing time this season. If either of these RB's gain a stronghold on carries this season their fantasy value absolutely soars as a result. With Stewart missing time and if there are still lingering injury issues there, Williams stock is sure to be on the rise.

I will update this story as I find out more information.
