News & Notes: From My Blackberry To Your Eyes

Very interesting that new Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley failed to address who the teams starting RB currently is and instead referred to the situatio as "an interesting battle" between Larry Johnson and Jamaal Charles. I find it hard to believe that Charles can compete with Johnson for a regular role because of his inability to hang onto the football. Charles has severe fumbling problems which will eventually drive any coaching staff completely nuts.

Seahawks LG Mike Wahle has announced that he plans on retiring following another right shoulder injury and being released by the team on Friday.

Michael Vick did not meet with the New England Patriots today and instead spent the day meeting with his bankruptcy attorney's in and around Newport News, Va. The media just can't seem to get enough of the possibility that Bill Belichick would even entertain signing Michael Vick. While I don't think that will happen, I definitely think that it could. Jacksonville is still my leader in the clubhouse until proven otherwise.
