Falcons WR Harry Douglas Goes Down

Second year WR Harry Douglas was carted off of the practice field today in what appears to be a significant knee injury. It is unclear at this time whether this was a contact or non-contact type injury but it does seem to be bad. One of my guys on the scene says that he heard QB Matt Ryan shout a string of loud curse words upon seeing Douglas' injury.

With Roddy White holding out for a new contract, Douglas was seeing extensive time as a starter during camp. He had been impressing the coaching staff by getting open with ease and showing a great work ethic and team first attitude. The Falcons just don't have much receiving depth so it appears that Roddy White's stock just went up. We'll keep you updated about Douglas' status as the results come in.
