Eagles Backup QB Carted Off

Kevin Kolb has been carted off of the practice field in Eagles camp with a knee injury. Details are sketchy at this time but reports are that while it didn't look bad, Kolb was in obvious pain. He was unable to walk under his own power and thus he will probably be missing quite a bit of time.

A.J. Feeley will step into the backup QB role now in Philadelphia for the foreseeable future. Kolb was drafted with the intent on taking over for McNabb one day and that day almost came last season only to see McNabb step up to the challenge and reclaim the role. Feeley will not put any more pressure on McNabb's job security that is for sure.
