Luke McCown To Get First Start For Bucs
Despite being outplayed thus far in training camp by Byron Leftwich, Luke McCown will start the Bucs first preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.
I really wouldn't read that much into this decision as McCown entered camp as the QB1 but most certainly will not hold it into the regular season. Leftwich has vastly outplayed McCown so far in camp and the offensive players are already talking like the job is Leftwich's to lose.
The thing to look for in whoever wins the starting QB job here is who they are comfortable throwing to. Whether it is a WR, TE or RB each QB has their guys they are comfortable with and those are the kinds of WR's you need to target in your drafts.
